“The MIMAROPA Health Research and Development Consortium (MHRDC) has issued a call for proposals in line with its aim to strengthen health research capabilities, encourage collaboration and resource sharing between and among member institutions, and promote the dissemination of regional health research agenda and utilization of health researches.
MHRDC invites you to submit a full research proposal focusing on MHRDC top research areas that target priority health challenges identified and/or covered in the National Unified Health Research Agenda (NUHRA) of the Philippine National Health Research
System and the Regional Unified Health Research Agenda identified in the last Strategic Planning Workshop of the Consortium.”

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) is offering fellowship research programs for postdoctoral and postgraduate students. This program is designed to enable Japanese researchers to invite their overseas colleagues to Japan to participate in cooperative work and other academic activities. Researchers of all countries having diplomatic relations with Japan are eligible. Applications are submitted by the inviting researchers who wish to host overseas researchers in Japan.

Call for Submissions of Research Abstracts and Participation to the 2017 National Research Conference of Educators and Graduate Students on Partnering and Engaging Filipino Educators in Research Capability Building and Knowledge Dissemination
Research Directors, educators, instructors, basic education teachers, junior and senior high school teachers, research enthusiasts, graduate school students and dissertation and thesis advisers, future education professionals in the various disciplines, and other interested stakeholders and advocates of research education.

Paper Requirements: All research abstracts must be written in 250 words, Times New Roman, font 12 with 5 keywords written at the bottom to be submitted on or before March 31, 2017 to give more time to produce the materials for distribution. see attached file(s) for email information.

Your school is invited to participate in IGNITE 2017, a “By Invitation Only” event by sending three (3) representatives from your school, as follows:
- School President, Administrator, or Owner – in charge of school management
- Head of Academic Programs, Dean or Principal – in charge of academics, pedagogy, curriculum, or content
- Head of IT or EdTech – in charge of technology and infrastructure
“This is the first call for papers for SHE XXII.This conference is meant to be as broadly interdisciplinary as possible – bridging science, social science, and policy perspectives
with literature, humanities and creative arts. Like previous SHE meetings, it is intended to bring together a diverse group of educators, researchers and practitioners who utilize, or are interested in, interdisciplinary and ecological approaches to all aspects of human ecology education and research across a range of scales.
We look forward to a diverse and exciting program with an excellent range of speakers, symposia, round‐tables and individual presentations.
Symposia and papers on the following themes are especially encouraged;
- Health, Aging, and Demographic Change
- Sustainable Cities and Landscapes
- Food and Water Systems

The Technology Innovation for Commercialization (TECHNICOM) Program implemented by the Department of Science and Technology(DOST) thru the Technology Application and Promotion Institute (TAPI) invites eligible proponents to submit commercially-viable and locally-developed R&D project proposals geared towards market-readiness for CY 2017 funding. Financial and technical assistance shall be granted to R&D projects pursuing pre-commercialization activities which will be implemented within a period of one year.
TECHNICOM Program is one of the DOST Grants-in-Aid (GIA) which aims to fast-track the transfer, utilization and commercialization of R&D outputs to contribute to the country’s sustainable development thru relevant technological platforms.
